CFC Wireforms in Batavia, Ill., is committed to quality. The manufacturer of precision metal stampings and springs asked the Chicago Manufacturing Center to help with process improvements. The results: CFC Wireforms reduced its cycle time; work in process inventory and defect rate, and increased throughput. Just as importantly the company added 15 people to the payroll as it geared up for a $1.5 million increase in sales.
